Western Village RV Park presents a complete schedule of events and planned activities throughout the camping season. In addition, a wide range of outstanding events are held outside of the campground but in the immediate area. Use the following calendar as a guide when making your plans and choosing the time of your stays. In addition to these scheduled events, thanks to our long list of recreational amenities, a wide range of spontaneous activities is likely to be taking place at any given time.

All Activities are subject to change, depending on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Activities could be added at a later date. Some activities will have nominal fees.
Bingo is every Saturday night at 5:30 (subject to change) from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

April 5-7 Opening Weekend: Come get your camper unpacked and get the season started! Welcome back, seasonals and weekend campers.
April 12-14 Clean-Up Weekend: Help get the park cleaned up and ready for the season! Stay 2 nights and get the second night 50% off. We will provide lunch for volunteers for 4 hours of work. Will have an afternoon hayride and bingo in the evening.
April 19-21 Easter Weekend: Easter egg hunt, egg dying/decorating craft and toy/candy hunt. Enjoy an evening hayride.
April 26-28 Carlisle Spring Car Show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, only 3.5 miles from Western Village. No activities at the campground. (Minimum 2 night stay.)


May 3-5 Cinco De Mayo: Piñata and Mexican potluck. Bring soft or hard taco shells and a side to share, and we will provide taco meat and toppings.
May 10-12 Mother’s Day: Mother’s day brunch ($), moms eat free. Craft for mom, wine bingo ($), and wine glass painting party for Moms ($). Create-A-Palooza will be here.
May 17-19 Carlisle Import & Performance Car Show at the Fairgrounds. Hayride in the afternoon and bingo in the evening. (2-night minimum.)
May 24-27 Memorial Day Weekend: Horseshoe, Cornhole, Softball and Volleyball tournaments. Campground Wide Yard Sale, 2 nights of bingo, hayrides. Pool opens for the season. LeBlanc and Messano will be here Saturday night, and DJ Adam Sunday night. King’s Bakery on Friday night. (3-night minimum, holiday visitor’s fee.)


May 31 - June 2 Ford Nationals Car Show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Birthday Weekend! Magic show with Nick, free jumping pillow from 12:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday. Piñata and party with cake and DJ Adam. King’s Bakery on Friday night.(2-night minimum.)
June 7-9 School’s Out Weekend: Candy/toy hunt, bring passing report card to office for a free scoop of ice cream. Candy bar bingo, pool party with music and late night swim. Ride from Mechanicsburg will be here Saturday night.
June 14-16 Father’s Day Weekend: Hot Dog lunch ($), dads eat free. Free mini golf with Dad, Dad/kid game, craft and evening hayride.
June 21-23 Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals held at the Fairgrounds. Hawaiian Weekend. Tie-dye, wet hayride, pool games, King’s Bakery on Friday night, and late night swim with music on Saturday night
June 28-30 Sweets and Treats Weekend: Toy/Candy hunt, cookie/cupcake decorating, candy bar bingo, ice cream social, topping bar ($), and drive in movie.


July 5-7 4th of July Weekend: Tie-dye party, site decorating contest, toy/candy hunt, horseshoe and Cornhole tournaments, hayride, fireworks, and DJ Adam on Saturday night.
July 12-14 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals at the Fairgrounds. Camper Appreciation weekend: Hot Dog/Hamburger lunch, free mini golf and jumping pillow on Saturday from 12:00 – 5:00 PM, wet hayride, and pool open until 10:00, Bingo, King’s Bakery here Friday night, and Duece Band on Saturday night. (2-night minimum.)
July 19-21 Western Weekend: Horseshoe tournament, mountain pie party, pony rides, Canvas paint party with Create-A-Poolza. Hometown Strangers band on Saturday night.
July 26-28 Christmas in July: Snow slip n slide, candy hunt, games, cookie decorating, Christmas Dinner, Noah’s Ark stuff n fluff workshop, donuts with Santa, and King’s Bakery on Friday night.


August 2-4 Truck Nationals at the Fairgrounds. Redneck Weekend. Horseshoes and Cornhole tournament, games, hayride. King’s Bakery on Friday night and a band on Saturday night
August 9-11 Wet n Wild Weekend: Wet hayride, squirt gun fight, slip n slide, water balloon wars, and pool games. Late night swim with music.
August 16-18 Chocolate Weekend: Chocolate slip n slide, chocolate pie eating contest, candy bar bingo, candy hunt, homemade hot chocolate and Smore party, and Check 1 Two Band on Saturday night.
August 23-25 Corvettes at the Fairgrounds: Lazy weekend, enjoy the amenities of the campground and the Ride from Mechanicsburg on Saturday night. (2-night minimum.)


August 30 - September 1 Labor Day Weekend: Corn hole, Horseshoe, Softball, Volleyball Tournaments 2 nights of Bingo, Campground wide Yard Sale, Rattle Rock Band on Saturday night, and fireworks on Sunday night! Woodcarver on Sunday. (3-night minimum; holiday visitor’s fee.)
September 6-8 Glow in the Dark: Candy and glow stick hunt, glow in the dark hayride, and glow in the dark DJ party with DJ Adam.
September 13-15 80’s Weekend: Tie-dye, old school games (Twister, etc.), and 80’s DJ dance party with DJ Adam.
September 20-22 Apple Weekend: Apple cider pressing, apple butter boiling, apple dessert pot luck, and will have a hayride in the evening.
September 27-29 Tailgate Weekend: Chili and wing cook-off, flag football game, and football game on big screen with bonfire. Decorate your site with your favorite team and win a prize.


October 4-6 Fall Carlisle at the fairgrounds. King’s Bakery will be here on Friday night. Jumping pillow open from 12:00 – 4:00 PM and an evening hayride on Saturday. (2-night minimum.)
October 11-13 Halloween Weekend 1: Site decorating, Trick or Treating, Haunted Hayride, Golf Cart/bike/walk parade, Pumpkin Carving Contest, Kids’ Crafts, cookie decorating, and haunted house. DJ Adam will be here, and will have a Halloween party. Please make a donation to our local food bank! (2-night minimum; holiday visitor’s fee.)
October 18-20 Halloween Weekend 2: Site decorating, Trick or Treating, Haunted Hayride, Golf Cart/bike/walk parade, Pumpkin Carving Contest, Kids’ Crafts, cookie decorating, and haunted house. We will show a scary movie with treats, s’more’s and popcorn. Please make a donation to our local food bank! (2-night minimum; holiday visitor’s fee.)
October 25-27 Goodbye Weekend: Time to say goodbye and pack up till next year!
